LOCATED IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE...WE ARE SURROUNDED BY HUNTING OPPORTUNITIES THAT CONJURE UP MEMORIES FROM THE PAST. THIS WONDERFUL LOCATION OFFERS UNIQUE LODGING, MEALS AND EXCEPTIONAL HUNTING FOR GROUPS OF UP TO TEN.
Formerly known as 'The Olde Homestead', this full service Kansas hunting lodge has been in business for 25 years...offering outstanding hunts, great food and comfortable lodging. Located in the middle of nowhere (i.e. the smoky hills of north central Kansas), this Kansas hunting lodge is surrounded by an everywhere of rolling grasslands, grain fields and timbered river bottoms supporting abundant wild pheasant, quail, prairie chicken, Rio Grande turkey and trophy whitetail deer ....a hunters' dream place. Our Kansas hunting lodge and location feels somewhat abandoned to the past. Hunters enjoy this residual beauty in the quiet solitude and space found here in north central Kansas, just south of Nebraska. Not an easy destination...but worth the trip. We look to provide your hunt with the spirit of vacation and/or respite...and excellent memories of a great stay at our Kansas Hunting Lodge.
BEST OF A KANSAS ...PHEASANT, WHITETAIL DEER AND RIO GRANDE TURKEY
The lodge provides unique comfort, home cooked meals and a place to share stories, while access to 2500 + leased acres support wild pheasant, quail, and prairie chicken. This Kansas hunting lodge also provides a pheasant hunting game preserve. The game preserve allows for controlled shooting of released birds, providing bird hunter, and dogs, an extended season of pheasant, quail and, by request, chukar. In 2012, we anticipate growing approx. 1,500 pheasant on site, allowing us to augment the wild pheasant population on our properties upon request. At Pheasant Creek Kansas hunting lodge we actively work on habitat to enhance the wild pheasant and quail populations. Wild Pheasant, supplemented with semi-wild pheasant... supported by great habitat... equals some wonderful pheasant hunt memories!
Our North Central Kansas hunting lodge boasts great Rio Grande turkey hunting! Top that with Kansas Deer Unit 7, renowned for abundant and trophy sized whitetail deer . Our Rio Grande turkeys, as well as whitetail deer, have not been hunted on our land, or leases, for years....2012 should prove a special year for those choosing to hunt whitetail deer or rio grande turkey at our lodge.

Pheasant Creek Kansas Hunting Lodge caters to private hunting parties and smaller groups of family members, coworkers, and/or friends just looking to share outstanding hunting experiences. We follow up your hunt with the comfort of great lodging and meals at the end of the day. Our size allows us considerable flexibility in attending to the needs of our groups.
Hunters choosing to stay at our Kansas hunting lodge have options
WE....
· accept very small groups (max 10).
· do not commingle groups in excess of 4 persons
· offer guided hunting opportunities for wild pheasant hunting and wild quail hunting.
· offer self-guided hunting opportunities for wild pheasant hunting and wild quail hunting.
· can augment wild birds with released pheasant, chukar and or quail (extra cost)
· license 600 acres of controlled shooting extending the season for pheasant and quail
· lease 2500 + acres supporting significant populations of Rio Grande turkey
· lease 2500 + acres supporting a good population of nice whitetail bucks
· Much of our properties hold potential trophy whitetail deer (>150 Boone & Crockett pts)
